Growing Community
On this page, you will find information about community, but what, in fact, is community? Webster’s defines it as “a unified body of individuals” and “a group of people with common characteristics.” These two concepts seem more like an unrealistic Utopia than an attainable reality. But are they, are they really? Perhaps it is not the definitions themselves, but rather our interpretation of that definition as seen through the lens of a fallen world.
- Mission: To create community, one garden at a time, by encouraging in-person connections between seasoned farmers/gardeners and budding gardeners. It is my prayer to create a template for neighborhoods across the country to replicate.
- Values: This site and concept embody the command from God’s Word to “love thy neighbor”, and the intrinsic value of stewarding well the creation that God has entrusted to us.
- Grace & Garden: Because we all need a little more grace in our gardens/lives.
